Alright. So I just went through the Chinese compo today but lets just say I'm pretty disappointed with the way they grade compos nowadats. I mean, I'm mostly contended with the facilities and opportunities it gave us but the way they set up their academic grading. I mean, whats the point of giving us those petty issues like some bookstores closing down or some teacher-student scandals or some bus aunties and etiquettes. The areas to write and develop on is just so....constricted, on top of a rigid structure to write with. My friend commented that Singapore would never be able to come up with impressive authors and I have to agree with it. Nothing personal or whatever, its just that I feel like any strands of creativity is just curbed till there is no way I can think of any interesting issues to write about, especially in Chinese. I mean, comprehension and paper 2 and other subjects are boring and academic driven enough already, why must they make composition writing, possibly the only remaining hopeful area, so restrictive as well? I just really don't see their point.

So, I once actually hoped to become an author and my writing skills were actually decent, now I just feel sick and disgusted whenever I'm going to write compositions.
