Thus marked the end of Cosfest'12. Also my first time actually earning money by myself. Dang I'm proud alright. OuO To be honest it was an extremely extremely extremely tiring experience. The hectic booth management, the commissions, the shouting and yelling and fangirling, at the end of the day I'm just worn out. But it was still a lot of fun all the same.  Earning the revenue is lovely really. I shall not be cliche and all goody and say I didn't go Cosfest for the money. It was for the money really, considering I have a whole bunch of debts I need to pay...out, also getting Clip Lab and maybe a DS?  So yes, money is good and I don't hate it:) BUT. I love every single moment of the entire journey. Every freaking single moment. Goodness gracious I don't think I've enjoyed any project this much honestly? Every detail of it, from the moment we decided to form a group, would be a precious memory to me. The planning, the creating, the meetings, and finally, the executing. True enough we would be boothing more in future, but nothing beats the first experience. I could close my eyes now and recall all the way from the start. Our group was formed over twitter, I didn't even know Minmin at first. I suggested we should booth for Cosfest and uh....that was March? April? The idea sound delicious enough to go for a shot, and after a while things fall into place and we started drafting our plan for the July and bammmm before we realise there isn't any turning back (okay there is but nobody want too. Well.) Our name Citru5 didn't get thought of until the last minute before application. Before that, we were subconsciously Azurine Dawn,(it's an old circle name from our precious group consisting of Jay, Haru, Biying, and me) but well since we have a new member I thought we should take up a new name. Jay and I were freaking out trying to think of a last minute name before submission. We came up with all sort of names until I suggested Citric acid...or something? I suggested it as a joke really, but awesome Jay went and turned it into an awesome Citru5. And the rest of the group likes it! Thus the birth of Citru5. Aaaaand right after that came the drawings. I finished mine first, then Minmin hers. It was until the last minute that Haru and Jay finished there's. Even on the last night before Cosfest Jay was still rushing out her Reshiram, while waiting for her IB result. It was really very nerve-wrecking. But I guess those times made us really bonded together. (And it's REALLY bonded, we swear never to disintegrate aw YISSS.) Everyone was freaking out, but in the end everyone did well, really. So stay awesome citruses! The printing part is interesting too...we met a group that went to collect their badges and they ended up right beside us boothing! HEY GUYS IF YOU EVER READ THIS IM SO GLAD THERE'S DOCTOR WHO FANS IN SINGAPORE. /slapped/ Against all odds, things turn out pretty smoothly and although we did almost blow our top over Cosfest's poor, if not terrible (I'm really sorry, but it was), management. I mean, I really nearly chocked on water when I read their email saying they may NOT be able to warrant us a booth. Seriously? After one entire freaking month of prep? You guys are lovely. Still, I guess I shan't blame them that much considering we did managed to earn a place in the end. So thank you Cosfest for organizing this event! Although the music and microphone can really be just a bit softer maybe thank you. On the first event day, there's only one word to describe it, and that's hectic. We are literally (especially me) screaming at each other over the table, which couldn't be helped since the music and audio was deafening and our badges were all over the place. The endless streams of commission was shocking as I didn't expect that much. And sorry if I miss out a few ;A; I swear I'll mail it to you guys sobs. But I'm not exactly pleased with my on-spot commissions though, since well...I thought I couldn't maintain the quality as in my samples unlike Mints. :"(  Oh I met z3lyn and Pricey and Whitesheepy from TM. Hey you guys are so lovely dannnnng why I couldn't have more time to talk to y'all I'm so sorry z3 your art is fabulous and you're such a lovely person with really lovely smile and I'm just like oh gosh her art and her person are all so amazing and Price YOU ARE SO CUTE. Totally different from what I expected you to be like. You seem so outspoken on TM yet IRL you're really so sweet uwahhh thanks for helping us to buy the drinks! It really saved our life (or stomach)/glompglomptackletackle Ah, I thought June and Amy and Xingzhi really deserves a special mention here. They are really a great help to us. They totally didnt have to but they just stuck around helping us to collect money and sales while some of us went around and the others were chionging commissions. We really didn't expect the help you gave us and it was so much appreciated (and needed;3;)! Citru5 owes you so much oh goodness me I'll get you two a thank you gift soon really. The second day was much more peaceful, I enjoyed the second day so much more. And all the members are present! CITRU5 OT5! I'll write you guys a separate note later on so watch out. The commissions were not as chaotic and it wasn't as noisy. I caught up with a few old friends whom I really didn't expect! Hey Xing~ hi to you and turtle and Ian ohohoho~and Yibing! The Sherlock tee is so amazinngggggg! *A*  thank you so much it was so so so nice of you;A; and thank you so much for the other thing too! (You know what it is...) It really really really meant a lot to me and I just can't thank you enough for it. Lastly, the most amazing thing is awesome sparkly Sana actually asked for our websites. ASASFKAFLJAS WHY IS SHE FOLLOWING CITRU5 YOUR ART IS SO HOLY SOBS. But honestly we are all so hardcore fans of yours yes ;3; you are so lovely and thank you for that Loki sketch (you call that fail?!OAO) and so sorry I wanted to draw something much nicer for you but my hand then simply wasn't working arhhhhhh god I feel guilty orzllll ;A;))). And thank you for the prints you gave us at the end! I hope you like Jay's Reshirram! She draws Pokemon like what is awesomeness?! On the downside, I did get annoyed by one thing in particular. There was this commissioner who came up to Mints and Biying for a commission sketch. Well you know, both of them are the bestest artists (for humans, at least)in our group and okay yes they are good but that doesn't mean they put no effort in their work AND FREAKING SHIT YOU DON'T COMMISSION YOUR FREAKING COMPLICATED CHARACTERS AT OUR REGULAR PRICES. Whatever they drew for you deserves at least , i mean AT LEAST, 20bucks and hell next time we are charging you 30 no bargain. How dare you complain 20 is pricey for a freaking fullbody sketch with BG and all that. Im using all my dignity not to swear but well. You know who you are but I hope you don't read this (actually I do but nevermind) idk, I just get really hell lot annoyed when people's art is undervalued. Free stuff are good, but you don't go around asking everyone for free stuff without giving anything but a stupid thank you that hasn't any sincerity in it. If you like art so much, pay ruefully for it, by not saying anything doesn't mean that they are always willing to give out sketches like that. Maybe they are just too awkward to turn you down! If they don't charge you, and when their art is so good, at least make that attempt to pay them. IT'S JUST LOGIC YOU LOAF. To the rest of our commissioners don't worry all of them are fine, we love you<3 I guess at the end of the day, it's tiring but worth it. All our efforts paid off, in different ways but all down to goodness. We learnt things, make friends and made ourselves proud, and it's all that matters when you come right to the end of it. There are exasperating time when the tension is great but thankfully we got along well and clicked together just fine. I really love you guys so much. Wherever am I to find such a perfect cast again? I promise no matter where you are, and when, part of Citru5 will stay with you. Once a Citrus, always a citrus! With that, I shall end off my amazingly long and cheesy  post...//buries head. How the hell did I even manage to type all that goodness gracious me orzlll. All in all, I would really like to thank everyone who dropped by and supported us in everyway. We owe it all to you and hope to catch y'all round soon! -Eiko PS: individual members I shall type a letter to every of you soon.
